JEN STARR: EDUCATOR/DESIGNER iS COMING SUN., AUGUST 19
      Here are the classes that Jen will be teaching on Sunday, August 19. People can sign up for 1 or both classes. Classes will be small - about 6-8 people. Nonrefundable (unless Jen cancels) prepayment is required. 20% off items purchased that day.
      For lunch, participants can bring a bag lunch or order out.

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES MINI-BOOK  ($38), 1- 4pm  
      You will construct this chubby little mini-book from a Tim Holtz Dde, but we will be focusing on an easy stitched book binding technique and working with Distress Stains in a variety of ways. Plus we will mix in some Idea-ology embellishments, Sticky Back canvas, Jen’s favorite Basic Grey Paper, Tim’s stamps from Stamper’s Anonymous, texture fades, fabric, Stickles and put it all together to make a fabulous little book ready for you to scrap or add your art journaling!  
They say the best things come in small packages and this is no exception...the ideas and techniques in this class will have your mind imagining all of the things you will be able to create next!!  (Note:  Title and words in the charms are optional and you will have choices in class)  

GLAZED METAL EFFECTS ($45), 5 - 8pm
      You will create a unique and gorgeous 8x8 chunky canvas in this fast paced mixed media class...think gift ideas!!  The photos of samples above are just two possibilities…color choices will be completely up to you and your unique style!
      During the artistic process, you will learn to take metal art to the next level by adding layers of gorgeous color. You will explore a variety of painting techniques with Ranger's Studio line of Acrylic Paints and learn to use Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam and Glaze to create some extremely COOL effects! We will also focus on Ten Second Studios metal while you master the use of their molds and embossing tools effectively. We'll be embellishing with custom flowers made from Tim Holtz dies and use wire in a way that will truly have your creative juices flowing with all of the possibilities.vvYou'll be amazed at how easy it can be to create stunning artistic effects!!! (for a non-scrappy version, replace photos with vintage images, ephemera or stamped images)

AUGUST 18 (Sat.) 9:30am - Noon                                                       QUILLING SESSION                                                                                        Cost: Free
      This is not a class.  Rather, it is an opportunity to connect with others who share an interest in quilling.  Each person is responsible for bringing his/her own supplies. Contact me to reserve a seat.

      Participants will make 8 cards while using new products and learning at least 1 new technique.  Participants are to bring their own adhesive. All other supplies will be provided.
