Classes usually run 2 - 2 1/2 hours and supplies are generally provided.
Prepayment is recommended to assure a space for you. No refunds unless someone takes your place. 15% discount on purchases made the day of the class (excluding specially marked items).

REVERSE IRIS FOLDING
Cost: $15

Pat Byther has
mastered this technique and is excited about teaching it. If you like
the iris folding technique, then I do believe that you'll enjoy this unique
"twist" on iris folding. Participants will need to bring seven 4 x 6
inch photocopies (either colored or black and white) of the same image or
seven 4 x 6 inch pattern paper (the same pattern). Bring a second set of
photocopies should there be time to do another
project.
Please bring, if possible, an X-acto
knife, ruler, and cutting mat.

Art Glass, embossing foil, alcohol inks,
and UTEE result in imitation dichroic glass jewelry. Compare the faux
dichro to the "real thing" and be impressed with what you've created.

pendants.

Rather, it is a time to share quilling ideas with others while working
on your quilling project. Each person is to bring his/her quilling tools

participants will learn the husking technique and make at least two cards.
This class has been very well-received and is a definite must for any
quiller.

CREATING ON STAMPBORDS
Cost: $1
|
Stampbord is an
absorbent, clay-coated wood surface that allows you to stamp the image and
then scratch back into that image to create details and highlights.
Stampboards come in a variety of sizes so you can work on one large
masterpiece (approx. 5 x 7 inches) or several smaller
projects.

Learn the ins and outs of carving your
own stamps out of eraser-like material specially designed for this project.
These stamps will be one of a kind and will be long lasting. Plan

For the individual who has never taken a
stamping class. Learn the basics from different ways of coloring stamps
to using embossing powders. Participants will also work with tools
including, but not limited to the stamp positioner, brayer, heat tool, texture
tools, Scor-it, punches, unmounted stamps and more. All supplies
provided, but feel free to bring stamps from your
collection.

When Joyce Thompson
offered this class last April, participants had so much fun and even had time
to start on another ball. Once you have the basics, you can create
jewelry pieces or Christmas decorations. Put a bell on the inside and
add some beads. Voila, quite the decoration. Check out the shop
sample.

MATTED
QUILLED FLOWER

Pat Nesbit will be leading
participants through the process of creating a quilled masterpiece ready for
framing. Participants will have the choice of creating a Bearded Iris or
another flower and mounting it on a 3-D mat. The flower can be framed or
used on an album cover to be treasured for many years. Check out shop
samples.

class is designed for the person who has never taken a scrapbooking class.
Bring at least 8 - 10 photos. Learn some basic layouts and use a

participants will feel inspired and confident to continue on their
own.
